We have developed the La Fontenna to increase the range of your WiFi signal and expand the coverage of the FON Community. Imagine what all this means! If you are a Bill you will be able to trap more Aliens wherever you have the La Fonera. If you are a Linus this will also help you to offer your signal to more users, or to cover that room at the end of the corridor. This first La Fontenna will multiply by 5 the power of your signal, thanks to its 7 dBi gain. You also have a 3 meters cable to place it in the best place, pointing at that park near your home, that business area or just your garden. This way you will have your own WiFi signal in even more places!

La Fonera+
After the success of La Fonera, we have reloaded our device with a new port. Now you can keep doing all the amazing things that La Fonera allowed you plus connecting a wired device to keep your network exactly as it was. FON’s new Social Router will let you connect all your WiFi-ready devices (desktop and laptop computers, PDAs, etc.) to your broadband connection. Use La Fonera+ to allow other Foneros to connect to your signal. If you place it strategically (for example, next to a window), you could catch a great number of Aliens and make your Piggy Bank grow. You can also buy a Fontenna to have an even wider coverage. |
